Job Description

The Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations oversees all plant activities, ensuring efficient, productive, and safe manufacturing processes. This role provides strategic direction, enhances operational performance, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement to achieve business goals. Additionally, the VP will lead the development and mentorship of plant employees and the management team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production, quality, and cost while driving KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Oversee plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture with effective workforce planning and development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, promote a safety-first culture, and implement risk reduction measures.
• Optimize sourcing and inventory management while strengthening supplier and partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven success in driving operational improvements and cost savings.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to teach, coach, and mentor teams.
• Experience managing large teams.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
