Job Description

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to join our Quality team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for daily production inspections while also contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Your focus will be on maintaining quality standards in alignment with ISO 9001 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time inspections of products, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance and approving process paperwork for critical customer and production operations.
• Assist in managing and implementing facility quality programs, including training, corrective actions, continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and non-conformance processes.
• Perform daily audits of departmental processes and paperwork in accordance with QA procedures, and generate reports or analyses as needed.
• Carry out tasks in compliance with all GSC safety rules, regulations, handbook guidelines, and written procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a quality department within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong ability to understand and apply customer specifications and requirements.
• Excellent eyesight and color differentiation skills.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in computer applications, including spreadsheets and word processing; experience with SPC tools/software is a plus.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
