RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, evaluate, and invest in pistachio or almond farms, conducting due diligence, projecting IRR, securing financing, and ensuring compliance with farming policies and procedures.
• Manage current and future real estate projects, identify new opportunities, conduct due diligence, project IRR, secure financing, and ensure compliance with real estate policies and procedures.
• Analyze ROI, IRR, financial statements, and key metrics for investments, providing recommendations to maximize net profit while managing stock portfolios, money managers, and private equity.
• Assess farm performance, oversee farm managers, and optimize water management strategies for cost-effective short-, mid-, and long-term solutions
• Oversee accounting, identify and support aligned charitable organizations, develop and evaluate charitable projects, and establish compliance policies for the Maximum Difference Foundation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Stable job history
• Experience in pistachio and/or almond farming
• Background in small companies or family offices
• 5+ years as a General Manager in the U.S.
• Managed multiple departments with 5-10 direct reports
• Expertise in investment analysis and IRR evaluation
• Strong financial statement analysis and accounting knowledge
• Advanced Excel and office software proficiency
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Agriculture, or related fields
• Skilled in project management, strategy, and execution
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and leadership
• Fast learner with excellent time management skills
• Expertise in farm acquisitions, particularly pistachio and almond farms
• Background in real estate purchasing and development
• Skilled in evaluating and underwriting new investment opportunities
• Proficient in financial planning and budget management
• Exceptional organizational abilities
• Experience managing financial advisors, money managers, and company stock portfolios
• Knowledgeable in private equity, private placements, alternative investments, and stock markets
• Holds a Master’s degree or MBA
